Our Story
Allertech was founded in 2019 by John and Jane Smith, a husband and wife team who were on a mission to protect their beloved labradoodle, Buddy, who suffered from severe allergies and skin irritations. After trying every over-the-counter pet shampoo and laundry detergent with no success, John and Jane decided there had to be a better way.
Armed with Jane’s background as a chemist and John’s business savvy, they spent two years researching and developing a line of hypoallergenic pet care and laundry products that would be safe and effective. After extensive testing and refining, the first Allertech products were born.
Since those early days in their home garage, Allertech has grown rapidly as word spread about their life-changing products. But we’ve never lost sight of why we started this company – to help pets and families find relief. Buddy is still by our side, allergy-free and happy.

- Allertech Itch Relief Pet Shampoo: With natural pramoxine, this shampoo immediately relieves itching and irritation caused by allergies, insect bites, ringworm, and other skin issues.
- Allertech Sensitive Skin Pet Shampoo: Ultra-gentle and soap-free, this shampoo cleans while restoring the hydrolipidic barrier with ceramides to calm sensitive or inflamed skin.
Laundry Detergents
Our hypoallergenic laundry detergents are specially designed to remove pet dander, pollen, and other common allergens from fabrics while being gentle on sensitive skin.
- Allertech Hypoallergenic Laundry Detergent: Our original formula contains plant-based cleaning agents to eliminate allergens and residues without irritating detergent smells or chemicals. Safe for all machines.
- Allertech Free & Clear Laundry Detergent: With no dyes, fragrances, or masking agents, this ultra-gentle laundry detergent is ideal for those with multiple chemical sensitivities.
- Allertech Odor Eliminator Laundry Detergent: Eliminate tough pet odors like urine and skunk smells with this enzymatic formula containing natural odor neutralizers safe for septic systems.
